SIX OUNCES COFFEE PANGLIMA POLIM

A NEW INSTAGRAMMABLE SPOT ALERT! This is Six Ounces Coffee at Panglima Polim/ Dharmawangsa, South Jakarta. A coffee shop that we are really familiar wth since they opened their first outlet at Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta. We loved their coffee and their brunch menus (1st outlet) and so we decided to visit this second outlet which was quite hyped on Instagram! Let's check out our quick review!
FYI, this is located just one block away from Patio Venue (Plataran Group). It was situated in a very green area covered with lots of huge trees, so staying outside (outdoor area) could be fun as well. We came here at 4 PM sunday and it was not as packed as what we expected. There were still some empty tables both in indoor and outdoor area. But, the parking area is very limited, so valet parking is advised (or probably is forced to, otherwise you have to park further). Thankfully, no minimum payment for the valet :)
This is the famous yellow Vespa, everybody came here for this iconic Vespa shot!

This is the indoor area, it's pretty dimmed as you can see. As we wanted to take some photos, we decided to sit outside for a perfect lighting.
The super spacious outdoor area with a bar seating.
Here's our quick review of the foods! We noticed that there are now more Asian menus than it was on their first outlet. And as Western brunch menus are quite easily found elsewhere, their Asian particularly Indonesian menus are very tempting.
Iced Coffee with Vanilla Ice Cream (45k)
Sambal Ijo Bowl (95k) ~ twiced cooked short ribs with poached egg and sambal ijo. No wonder the short ribs was very tender and they were in a very big cube size. It was cooked with sweet based sauce and was perfectly paired with their spicy green chili. The creamy poached egg made it even more perfect when mixed together with the  rice and the beef. Very recommended!
Grilled Chicken Sambal Matah (70k) ~ grilled chicken with sambal matah, mango slaw, fried egg and rice. You might wonder where is the sambal matah. Well, we initially wanted to feed our baby with the grilled chicken. So we requested to separate the sambal matah from the chicken. But it turned out that the chicken was cooked with some spicy sauce which made it impossible to feed our baby. So there you go as you can see below, grilled chicken without sambal matah (it was on a separate plate). Some part of the chicken was slightly plain, but the sambal matah was great!
Last but not the least, Creamy Carbonara Spaghetti (85k). An ordinary creamy carbonara pasta with beef bacon. It was good and comforting, oh well we love creamy pasta!
Six Ounces Coffee is actually famous for its Australian style brunch, so you better try some if you are a first timer here. Thank you guys for reading and FOLLOW our blog and Instagram @jktdelicacy for more food and travel journey.
