QUBICO COFFEE - Kelapa Gading

It was sunday, 4th September 2016 when we had no idea on what to do. There were a few lists in my head but I was thinking to browse Zomato for some inspiration (This is not a Zomato promotion anyway). We were planning to go to Kelapa Gading, so we searched some places to have some coffee or brunch. And we found this Qubico Coffee on the top lists. Well then we went ahead there and tried their coffee and breakfast.

Its a pretty beautiful and homey place actually. Not too spacious but the sofa area was really comfortable. We were sitting there and relaxing for quite a moment while doing our works.

When some food bloggers list their top coffee shops in Jakarta, Its kinda hard for me to list down because most coffee shops nowadays serve a pretty consistent and good coffees. And I mostly order Cappuccino on every coffee shop, that's how I rate whether a coffee here is good or not.

Here in Qubico, their cappuccino was nice, not too bold, not sour but still quite thick. I really enjoyed it. My wife tried their Green Tea Latte because she is not a big fan of 'Real Coffee" like the pure black one. So, normally she tries something like chilled mocktails or non-coffee latte.

TRUFFLE FRIES - IDR 33.000

Its a small cut french fries with truffle and mayo sauce. They fried it probably too long or in a very hot oil that the fries was too dry. Flavor wise, it wasn't bad but I couldn't really taste the truffle.

BIG BREAKFAST - IDR 48.000

I have always been a fan of breakfast / brunch menus, especially when it is plated beautifully with some weird unfamiliar stuffs on it :p This one was pretty simple actually, toast, omelet, sausage, sauteed potato, sauteed mushroom, cherry tomato and fresh lettuce. The overall dish was pretty good. But the toast was rocky tough, the sausage was too dry and chewy. If they cooked it the right way, it must be a nice meal. But we talked about this with the chef, hopefully they fix the issue :)

[SUMMARY] Its a really good place to relax and have some coffee. I enjoyed every single second here because it really felt like home. The coffee was nice, the breakfast was affordable despite some critics on the serving. Overall, We love this place.
