Plunge Dining & Co - The New Brunch Cafe in West Jakarta

Came here on 14 July 2018 and knew it from a friend of us who visited here the day before! They were 2 weeks old by the time we visited here and they just introduced their complete dining menus. Plunge Dining & Co is located at Jalan Pesanggrahan, Kembangan, West Jakarta. Its not a big cafe in terms of physical size, but we truly enjoyed their unique food creations (especially their breakfast/ brunch menus). We won't categorize this as a coffee shop, simply because they serve good food and service you just like in a fine dining restaurant. There's one staff dressed up in a formal suit serving you the best 5 star dining service, its in-between nice but unusual for a small cafe (especially around West Jakarta). Interior wise they are very minimalist like literally so minimal decoration. Let's check out our dining experience here.

BEAU by Talita Setyadi - Cikajang

Many of you have probably heard or even visited Beau, but for us, it was until 1st January 2017 when we visited their branch for the first time at Cikajang, South Jakarta. It was the first day of 2017 and we randomly picked this place when we saw someone posted it on Instagram. It was unexpectedly beautiful, either the food, the drinks and the interior. We really love the white theme and the green plants around the cafe. They also have another branch at Grand Indonesia actually, but well you can't compare both of them as they are located on two different places and environments. One in an indoor department store (Central) and one in a stand-alone cafe. Let's have a look!

GUTEN MORGEN COFFEE LAB & SHOP - Tomang

Its lucky for us to come at the opening day of Guten Morgen Coffee Lab & Shop. We didn't plan it and didn't know that it was the first day! We arrived together with some foodies and it was fully packed and super hectic inside. All seats were occupied, so we waited for a while before we got our table. I have to say that I really love their decorations, they put so much tiny plants all over the corner that make it so comfortable, so relaxing and most of all so hommy. I really hope to come again a few weeks later when the hype is not this big, so that I can enjoy my coffee and brunch here.

180 COFFEE & MUSIC - Bandung

We had been really busy travelling at least for the past 2 weeks from Bangkok to Bandung, and we can finally get back to this blog! This time we are covering the most happening coffee shop in Bandung: 180 Coffee & Music! I wasn't particularly interested to cover any more new coffee shop lately, I just felt like they were all offering the same thing. But then, this one really caught my attention. QUBICO COFFEE - Kelapa Gading

It was sunday, 4th September 2016 when we had no idea on what to do. There were a few lists in my head but I was thinking to browse Zomato for some inspiration (This is not a Zomato promotion anyway). We were planning to go to Kelapa Gading, so we searched some places to have some coffee or brunch. And we found this Qubico Coffee on the top lists. Well then we went ahead there and tried their coffee and breakfast.

LUCKY CAT COFFEE & KITCHEN - Plaza Festival

We know that we are probably the last bloggers to visit here, like we've seen a lot of bloggers posted this beautiful place on Instagram. But we finally had the chance to visit here last Sunday, 31 July 2015. Poor us :( I believe a lot of you have known this as well, so we don't really need to explain a lot :D

ST ALI COFFEE ROASTERS - South Melbourne

We've never been to St Ali in Jakarta and its pretty sad that we were not invited on their opening day #curcol. It was a big hype early on the opening weeks where a lot of people came there to try their coffee and brunch menus. We planned to visit there actually but in many times we couldn't make it. Luckyly, we got the chance to visit their original store in South Melboure during our trip in Melbourne!

TOP PADDOCK - Richmond, Melbourne

My friend who is living in Melbourne picked us from the hotel and drove us to here, Top Paddock. This is one of the most talked about Coffee Shop in Melbourne. In the morning, it was fully packed with customers either in indoor and outdoor. Since it was winter when we came there, they had outdoor heater near our seats, so it still felt warm outside. Lets talk about the food.

BRIGHTON SOUL ESPRESSO - Brighton, Melbourne

Brighton Beach in Melbourne has been one of my bucket lists to visit for the past few years. I've seen people posing in front of the famous bathing boxes, the colorful houses at the Brighton beach, and I was really envy! So, when were in Melbourne, we managed to go there by train. But interestingly, on our (walking) way to the beach, we found this small coffee shop on the side of the street. And I have been a fan of coffee, especially in Australia where they serve beautiful brunch menus.

EXQUISE PATISSERIE - Rumah Cokro, Menteng

Just came back a few days ago from my 10 day long winter vacation in China and finally decided to make a short review of this comfy coffee and bakery house; Exquise Patisserie. Actually, I visited here on March 9th 2016 afternoon, the day when I had my midnight flight to China.

NO KA OI - Gandaria, Jakarta Selatan

[NEW RESTAURANT] Well, without further introduction, this is NO KA OI. A new restaurant with a coffee shop theme, offering Tropical and Hawaiian inspired dishes. You can really tell when you enter the room and see the wall arts. No Ka Oi is located on the main street of Jalan Gandaria 1, the same row of 1/15 Coffee or accross Ikan Tude Manado. The interior is very woody with soft brown color as the main element. This color brings peace and relax to my mind. 

So, I was honored to be invited for a food testing (31 January 2016) in this newly opened restaurant and I'm trying to be very honest with my review. Because some people think that when food bloggers are being paid or invited for foodtesting, their review tends to be biased.

NATIVE COFFEE TRIBE - Metro PIK

[SHORT REVIEW] Its been a while since the last time I visited a coffee shop. Last week (27 December) when I went to PIK to look for some dinner, I saw this new coffee shop in Metro PIK. Its a typical small and minimalist coffee shop with a few range of coffee.
