Mungkin dari sekian banyak hotel bintang 5 di Jakarta, Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta inilah yang menempati urutan pertama hotel termewah versi kami (silakan kalau kalian punya pendapat yang berbeda). Ketika memasuki kamar Premium Suite ini, kami langsung dibuat terperangah dengan ukuranya yang super luas dan interior nya yang sangat mewah. Dengan living room yang terpisah dengan master bedroom nya, tidak salah kamar ini dinamakan Premium Suite. Apalagi dengan pemandangan kota Jakarta yang 90 derajat di hadapan king size bed nya. Ya udah tanpa basa basi lagi, langsung aja kita lihat review lengkapnya.

CUMA 400RIBUAN/ MALAM DI GRAND HYATT JAKARTA

Di bulan September 2020 selama pandemi Covid-19 ini kita putusin buat staycation di Grand Hyatt Jakarta. Ini adalah staycation kita yang ke 2 di hotel yang sama (pertama kali tahun lalu). Dan jujur selama pandemi banyak banget staycation experience yang berbeda dibandingkan dengan ketika normal. Kali ini kita memesan kamar tipe Grand Room dan kita mendapatkan kamar dengan pemandangan langsung ke Bundaran HI. Gimana sih pengalaman kita selama menginap di Grand Hyatt? STAYCATION DI GRAND ROOM SWISSOTEL PIK JAKARTA

Finally bisa properly staycation di Swissotel PIK, Jakarta setelah staycation pertama kami di awal tahun 2020. Kami sempat menginap di Swissotel pada tanggal 4 Januari 2020 ketika mengungsi dari mati listrik (saat itu Jakarta dilanda banjir besar). Nah tapi karena status nya ketika itu sedang mengungsi, kami tidak begitu menikmati staycation kami. Kali ini kami staycation di Grand Room Swissotel, namun lagi lagi terjadi di saat yang kurang tepat. Kami menginap satu hari sebelum PSBB ke 2 di Jakarta. Padahal kami sudah sangat menanti-nantikan staycation yang satu ini. Oke akan kami ceritakan detailnya di blog kali ini.

JHL SOLITAIRE - The First 5 Star Hotel in Gading Serpong, Tangerang

The first and the only 5 star hotel in Gading Serpong, Tangerang! Kedengerannya sangat exclusive ya soalnya satu-satunya di Gading Serpong, mungkin gak surprised sih soalnya perekonomian di sana mungkin tidak sebesar di daerah Tangerang Selatan. But oh well, daerah GS ini sendiri cukup ramai ya apalagi dengan adanya pusat perbelanjaan dan kulinernya. Makanya kita mutusin buat staycation di JHL Solitaire. Ketika check-in kita diupgrade ke kamar Junior Suite nya ,WOW surprised banget. Biasanya free upgrade diberikan kepada tamu apabila okupansi kamarnya sedang sedikit atau low season. Kamar Junior Suite nya luas banget dan ada sofa besar yang sebenarnya bisa buat tidur 1 orang dewasa loh. Kasurnya juga King Bed yang lebar dan empuk banget. Nah daripada panjang lebar langsung aja kita intip kegiatan kita selama 2 hari 1 malam di JHL Solitaire.

ALAYA RESORT UBUD BALI

Welcome to Alaya Resort Ubud! A tropical resort located at the very heart of Ubud next to many popular cafes and restaurants, such as Bebek Tepi Sawah and Pison Coffee. It is also walking distance to the popular monkey forest and neighboring to Plataran Ubud. We love how green the resort is because they preserve a huge space for paddy field right next to the resort. Without further a due, let's take a look at the room and the facilities.

AKASHA PRIVATE POOL VILLA AT JEEVA KLUI LOMBOK

Jeeva Group is nothing new to us as we have been experiencing two of their other resorts: Jeeva Beloam and Jeeva Santai, all located in Lombok. We got this one private pool villa at Jeeva Klui Resort for only 350.000 Rupiah ($24) during a flash sale at one travel app and without further thinking we made it happened! It is the cheapest luxurious villa we've ever experienced. We stayed here for two nights and we were very enjoying every single moment, especially when they had a private sandy beach. ALILA UBUD STAYCATION WITH THE AMAZING INFINITY POOL

Alila Group has never been on our bucket lists hotel to stay, knowing that they are pretty expensive. It was one day when we found out that a travel app offered huge discount on many hotels around the world, especially in Indonesia. We were browsing on the app when we were shocked to see Alila Ubud was on a discount. We decided to book it right away alongside a few other hotels in Bali, Lombok and Sydney. Yes, you heard it right, we booked quite a lot of hotels for our trips in 2019. Alila Ubud is located at a mountainous area of Ubud, Bali. And it's supposed to be 'The Cheapest" one among 2 other Alila Hotels in Uluwatu and Seminyak. So, let's check out our 5 star staying experience at Alila Ubud.

SHANGRI-LA JAKARTA STAYCATION HOTEL REVIEW

It's our first Shangri-La Jakarta staycation experience! If you haven't watched our Youtube Vlog above, you better watch now. After experiencing some of the best 5 star hotels in Jakarta, we finally managed to get a very good deal at this Chinese influenced 5 star hotel. We paid only IDR 465.000/night or roughly $32, that was damn cheap! It was started on a massive hotel promotion from Traveloka app earlier this October 2019 and we luckily caught a very best deal for Grand Hyatt Jakarta. But things didn't turn out smoothly until we finally decided to pick Shangri-La. We'll talk about it later on, meanwhile enjoy our Shangri-La Jakarta review.

SOFITEL SYDNEY WENTWORTH HOTEL

We rarely write about overseas' hotel review, but when we do, it must be good or best! Like this Sofitel Sydney Wentworth that we booked during a flash sale on a travel app. Sofitel Wentwoth is located strategically at the Philip street just a block away from the popular Circular Quay. This area is very well known for its Ferry Wharf, The Sydney Opera House and The Rocks Market. Sofitel Wentworth is the first Sofitel hotel in Sydney and now there are two hotels, another one is at Darling Harbour. The room is super spacious just like a standard 5 star hotel with their French hospitality as it is an Accor group. There is not much that we can share to you as we didn't experience all of their facilities. So let's take a look.

Staycation at The Grand Club Room of Grand Hyatt Jakarta

 

Shall we say the best hotel we've ever stayed in Jakarta? Well, undoubtedly YES! At least that is for us cause we rarely stay in a hotel  in Jakarta unless for a review purpose! Earlier on April 2019, we stayed at The Grand Hyatt Jakarta, one of the most iconic 5 star hotels around Bundaran Hotel Indonesia aka the Welcoming Statue Roundabout. It's located at the very center of Jakarta with the most beautiful outdoor water fountain in town. We stayed at their Grand Club room which is the room with a complimentary access to their Club room (unlimited refreshment such as snacks and drinks). We also reviewed their signature C's Steak and Seafood restaurant for dinner, The Grand Cafe for Sunday Brunch and Fountain Lounge for afternoon tea.  Let's check out our review.

Hotel Tugu Malang ~ Hotel Terbaik di Malang dengan Santapan Kuliner Lezat

Akhirnya bisa staycation pertama kalinya di kota Malang, karena biasanya hanya di Jakarta atau Bali. Kali ini mau menginap selama 2 malam di hotel terbaik di Malang. Yes, ini Hotel Tugu Malang, hotel terbaik di Malang versi berbagai website booking hotel di internet seperti Booking.com, Agoda, dan Tripadvisor. Penerbangan kami dari Jakarta menggunakan Sriwijaya Air hanya menempuh 1 jam saja, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan taksi bandara selama 30 menit. Sesampainya di Hotel Tugu, kami langsung disambut oleh staff hotel yang sangat ramah dengan senyuman hangat. Setelah check in, kami langsung diantar menuju kamar kami di lantai 2 dengan tipe kamar 'Zamrud of East Java Suite'. Nah mau tau keseruan staycation kami di Hotel Tugu Malang? Marriott Yogyakarta ~ New Luxurious 5 Star Hotel in Yogyakarta

Never crossed in our mind staying at this relatively new Marriott Hotel Yogyakarta when we were planning to visit Yogyakarta back in June 2018. It was until one of our friends who apparently traveled with us informed us that there's this beautiful hotel in Yogyakarta. Why Marriott? Well, its simple! Its new, its beautiful and more importantly, the price that they offered online was pretty low for a 5 star hotel. In fact, it was the lowest International 5 star hotel chain we've ever experienced in Indonesia (for the same class). Marriott Yogyakarta itself was officially open since last October 2018. Staycation Experience at Suite Room of Harris Vertu Hotel

Back again at Harris Vertu Hotel at Harmoni. This is our second time staying at this luxurious property by Tauzia Hotel Management (Pop Hotel, Harris Hotel, Yello Hotel and Many more). Back in 2017 we stayed at their Superior room which is their standart room category. You can read more about this Superior room from THE LINK here. This time we stayed at their Suite Room which is their highest room category with 56 sqm spacious room. We had a real pleasure of staying at their 28th floor with a beautiful view of Hayam Wuruk street. What will you get from this Suite room? We'll review it very quick in this post!

Wapa di Ume - Best Honeymoon Villa in Ubud

I really love the shot, because it somehow shows the natural side of a resort. Let me introduce you to Wapa Di Ume, a hidden exotic resort in Ubud. We were looking for a hotel 2 days prior to our arrival in Bali and it was like last minutes! I browsed through Agoda.com and got tons of choices. Ubud has been one of the best places in Bali to escape from a busy buzzling city. One thing about picking a nice stay is by sorting the hotel's rating. Wapa Di Ume came out as one of the best with a rating above 8 (forgot the exact). And were didn't make a wrong choice, this easily became the only two most memorable resort in Ubud after Padma Ubud. I have specially put a lot of effort in making this review just for you guys. So enjoy!

New Private Pool Villa by S18 Bali Villas at Kuta - Bali

Back again with an exciting Bali Hotel review. This time, I wanna share you my bext experience at the newly established S18 Bali Villas at Kuta, Bali. I was really glad that by the time we came here, it was just a few weeks old. They started running since early May 2017 and we stayed here on 27 May 2017. S18 Villas is located at Jalan Dewi Sri 3, a busy street at Kuta, Bali. It is strategically located very close to the airport, around 15 minutes or 6 km. So, its a very right decision for me to stay here, because the next day we were about to catch our morning flight. Are you ready to too see more? Let's have a look!

Staycation at Shangri-La Hotel Surabaya

Back to a hotel review, I think its really been a while like the last time I had a nice stay was in Bali. I really like to experience something new to my trip, or lets say 'Staycation' where you pamper yourself around a nice resort with all of their facilities. I've been to exotic places around the country and I'm still exploring at this moment. Last week 29 April - 1 May 2017, we went to Surabaya for a 3 day trip with our friends, and the last time I visited Surabaya was like more than 10 years ago when I was elementary grade. I forgot everything about Surabaya and I had imagine going back one day with the new Surabaya. You know I admire Surabaya's mayor, Ibu Risma, with all her big transformation to the second biggest city in Indonesia. Our first stay in Surabaya was in Shangri-La Hotel Surabaya. All New ASIA RESTAURANT - Ritz Carlton Kuningan

Let me introduce you to The All New Asia Restaurant 2017 at Ritz Carlton Kuningan! Asia Restaurant has been one of my most visited buffet restaurant in a 5 star hotel for the past few years. Even more than buffet shabu shabu in a shopping mall, I know you won't believe me! But, Asia often offers you a very great deal for lunch or dinner. Last time I visited Asia was December 2016 when my nephew celebrated his 3rd birthday. It was still the old Asia Restaurant back then and now, I was stunned by the massive changes of the interior. KERATON SUNDAY BRUNCH - Bengawan at Keraton

The Best Sunday Brunch in Jakarta at the moment, that's all that I can say. I have tried so many buffet restaurants at five star hotels but none quite comparable to this. Keraton at The Plaza offers the best quality buffet with the best services at the same time. Located at Bengawan Restaurant, I have to admit that its not the most luxurious restaurants, but again the services and the hospitality are like none others! They don't hesitate to approach your table and serve you whatever you want, even though it is a self serviced buffet restaurant.
